Hello there & thanks for stopping by…
My name is Dr. Kate Cummins and I am a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of California. I’ve been working with clients for over a decade, helping problem solve and overcome challenging events. I love my profession, because it’s enabled me to work with some of the brightest and beautiful people I’ve ever known. The transformation of my clients brings me great joy, as we celebrate the successes they obtain.
I currently work in private practice in the financial district of San Francisco, and have a boutique practice in Los Angeles as well. I’m a trained neuropsychologist and health psychologist, and spend time in the hospital setting with brain injury patients at Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center. In addition, I work in several skilled nursing facilities in the Bay Area providing neuropsychological assessments and rehabilitation psychology for older adults.
Lastly, I am a proud clinician at Stanford University in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences, providing work with veterans and PTSD.
Life is full of diversity. I’m always studying and consider myself a scientist, as I’ll forever be chasing new information in neuroscience and the field of psychology to best serve my clients. It’s my job to stay as up to date as possible, so that you can be the expert on your life, and I can attempt to be the expert in mine.
I am honored to have the opportunity to work with you, and believe that each one of my clients is an incredible gift.
