Managing Anxiety & Professional Stress
When I decided to try therapy to talk through my anxiety it was important to me to find someone with a solid academic/clinical background but also someone who was non-intimidating and empathetic. Dr. Kate turned out to be exactly that, with the ability to understand and respond to my needs. I worked with her for several months to better understand myself and devise strategies for managing personal & professional stress, and I’ve continued seeing her on an “as-needed” basis for ongoing maintenance. I think of those visits in the same way I think of regular exercise — life is busy & messy but self-awareness & self care has to be a priority.
